My Take on the Shake

Now that the new year is rolling around, a lot of us are thinking we should probably get off the couch and do something. Home EricaNomics is by no means abandoning the cookie and appetizer recipes, but sometimes we need a reset! I've tried a lot of different shakes and they can be great afternoon "tide me overs" and breakfast on the go. I find it's a great way to hide veggies.

As my page grows and I share different stories and ideas, I want to work in products that I love and use all the time. If you're reading this, you probably know me or trust my advice. Maybe someone invited you to my facebook page or to this blog. When I see a good product, I want to tell people about it. This is my first blog that features a favorite product of mine!

Back to the subject at hand-what's my take on the shake? I find that if you love the taste of your shake and it's easy to make and take (see what I did there?), you'll utilize them more often and work them into your other healthy habits. I haven't had a full sized blender in my kitchen for years. I did a ton of research and found this Oster blender was the perfect match for me and my needs. We even use it to make milkshakes for the kids! The options are endless and I keep both chocolate and vanilla on hand depending on my mood. I have many recipes, but this one is a favorite for a morning on the go!

Pineapple Dream Shake
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
1 scoop of your favorite vanilla protein shake mix (I have a favorite, see information below)
4-8 oz of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk (I vary this depending on how much ice I add and the thickness I prefer!)

This hands down has been my favorite blender! It comes with a nice lid that's easy to drink out of. I've gifted it a few times and I've ordered several extra bottles. Perfect!
